Anyone own a Kubota tractor and can answer this?
I have a Kubota utility tractor and was confused with something in the owner's manual. One section says that driving on asphalt (street) with 4WD engaged would damage it. But in another section it says 2WD would damage it. So which is correct?
I've contacted Kubota but no answer.......
On hard surfaces use 2 WD. This is true for most 4WD cars as well. The answer about the locking of hubs is correct. This can put more stress on the differential and tranmission.
Used to have a Kubota and thought it was a very good tractor.
